Their unique voices, both as LGBTQ and LatinX creatives span Directing, Producing, Creative Direction, and Choreography, making them one of the industry’s most sought after duos.

In the music space, Nick & RJ have worked as Directors, Creative Directors, and Choreographers of music videos, award show performances (Grammys, Brits, AMAs, Billboards, VMAs, MTV Movie, EMAs, iHeart, CMAs, Nickelodeon), and World Tours. They directed P!nk’s Beautiful Trauma music video co-starring Channing Tatum which Billboard named in the top 10 videos of the year as well as her rollerskating-pop-dance-fantasy Never Gonna Not Dance Again. Their choreography for Katy Perry’s Dark Horse music video has garnered over 3 Billion views, and other notable work includes videos for Dua Lipa ft. Miguel, Ariana Grande & John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, Selena Gomez, & Rachel Platten. World Tours include Madonna Confessions Tour and Sticky N Sweet Tour, P!nk Beautiful Trauma Tour and The Truth About Love Tour (Pollstar Winners), Katy Perry Prismatic Tour and California Dreams Tour (Pollstar Winners), Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson Immortal Tour, Ricky Martin Mas Tour, Celine Dion Taking Chances Tour, The Spice Girls Reunion Tour, Brett Young Chapters Tour, Keyshia Cole A Different Me Tour, and live shows for Selena Gomez, Hailee Steinfeld, and Rachel Platten. As Executive Producers, Nick & RJ were integral in creating The Disney Family Singalong franchise that featured the world’s biggest stars including Beyonce, Ariana Grande, BTS, and more, which led to subsequent installments, The Queen Family Singalong and The 50th Anniversary Schoolhouse Rock Singalong, that they also directed. Nick & RJ made their television directorial debut with Step Into The Movies, a Pre-Oscar special that reimagined cinema’s most iconic dance scenes, starring Derek & Julianne Hough, and featured Ariana Debose, Harry Shum Jr., Charli D’amelio, John Stamos, Jenna Dewan, Tate McRae, Amber Riley, Kevin Bacon, Baz Luhrmann, Rob Marshall, and Kenny Ortega. They teamed up as Executive Producers/Creatives with LL Cool J & Chris O’Donnell on the CBS Dance Series Come Dance With Me, as well as producing Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas, XQ Graduate Together, and The Little Mermaid Live, which they also choreographed. Their choreography has been featured on numerous television shows and specials including American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America, America’s Got Talent, and So You Think You Can Dance (3x World Choreography Award Winners: DWTS, Disneyland 60th, AMAs).

RJ choreographed the original LA and Vegas production of Rock of Ages, but began work with Madonna once ROA landed on Broadway. The duo directed and choreographed Tenors of Rock (Best of Las Vegas Winner), and choreographed Surf! A Beach Boys musical at Planet Hollywood, and Baz: Star Crossed Love at the Venetian (Best New Show Winner). They also choreographed Scorsese: American Crime Requiem at the Wallis in Los Angeles. Nick & RJ continue to break new ground, bringing their visual storytelling and heart to the feature film world, with an original movie musical in the works, a YA physiological thriller based on a best selling novel, and a dance biopic loosely based on Nick’s life as a young Mexican dancer growing up in the farmlands of Texas.
